Oregon Frontier Regional Innovation Hub
Innovative solutions happen when people work together
The Oregon Frontier Innovation Hub supports entrepreneurs across Baker, Gilliam, Grant, Harney, Malheur, Morrow, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa, and Wheeler counties. We provide tailored, individualized support to entrepreneurs, connecting them with the right resources and opportunities at the right time. Our mission is to foster networks, alliances, and partnerships that drive innovation and support the growth of traded-sector entrepreneurs that are innovating in Eastern Oregon.
The Oregon Frontier Innovation Hub, based at the Rural Engagement and Vitality Center in La Grande, fosters networks, alliances, and partnerships to drive innovation and support the growth of traded-sector entrepreneurs that are innovating in Eastern Oregon.
By coordinating existing resources and service providers, the Oregon Frontier Hub can help entrepreneurs to thrive and expand their impact on local and regional economies. With a focus on businesses delivering goods and services to regional communities, the Hub nurtures collaboration and maximizes opportunities for sustainable growth and economic development.
The Oregon Frontier Innovation Hub is a collaborative effort of the Rural Engagement & Vitality Center, Blue Mountain Community College, and Catalyst Public Policy Advisors.
Oregon’s Regional Innovation Hubs are a key strategy in Business Oregon’s 10-Year Innovation Plan to advance innovation in Oregon and create more inclusive economic opportunities. Hubs build and advance regional innovation ecosystems, as well as provide local small businesses that are actively, or planning on incorporating new technology into their business with access to technical assistance, capital, networking, mentorship, and talent.
